Tashie Family Genealogy

This site is intended to put together our genealogies in a pictorial fashion. But for now I am concentrating on putting out and sharing old pictures.

Most of us know that my father, John Tashie took a lot of pictures. Well, make that, a LOT of pictures.

Truth is he made us ( at least me) crazy while taking the pictures ("stand still, damn it', "no fidgeting", "get your hands out of your pockets").

What do you do with boxes and boxes of pictures and slides? Ellen had so many digitized. I have a box that I am just starting to digitize.

These pages represent my efforts. I am keeping it simple and putting a box(a 'magazine') of slides per page. Use the main menu drop down, and also the side bar (or footer menu) on each page to navigate through them.

Amazing that it took this much time to get to them, and to now get really nostalgic looking at them.

I hope you get to take a look, and see the memories that we made together.

Dad, who always made a point of keeping family together ( "have you called your brothers and sisters lately?"), is managing to do it still from beyond the veil of this world.
